What Do You Think Of Ireland’s Current Problems? Fine Gael ask, I responserate.

Note the ‘Have Your Say‘ format. I wrote about this before.

Anyway, I commented this. Had to distill the 200-point list to a 200-character response. But that is OK: time is short, and we need to be effective and efficient at the same time simultaneously.

Lack of strong leadership. For this we need to look to Fine Gael’s partners at European level in the EPP. Take Fidesz in Hungary: their new media law means the economy will be protected from Ice-T’s foul-mouthed gangsta rap and also from journalism.

Your move, Enderator.

Fine Gael dont do open, free, critical, uncensored speech on their election gimmick web sites.

    I quite liked this one:

Dave Quinn from Dublin says :

Brush your hair Enda – you look sloppy

I am fond of Geraldine from Kenmare’s observation that says “we have become a bastardized immoral nation of moaners and handouts”. You stay positive, Geraldine.

Fine Gael should distance themselves as much as possible from that fascist Fidesz crowd. This is a PR disaster waiting to get stirred up. I have a suggestion which they could use to show the public, who’s opinion they seem to crave, that they are taking this matter seriously. Ask commentors to leave their wisdom on the Fine Gael site in the style of whatever hip-hop legend/gangsta rap star they choose. It’d be best if they followed the template of Ice Cube of course, but he’s not to everyone’s taste.
