“I had prostate cancer five, six years ago,” the former New York mayor said. “My chance of surviving prostate cancer – and, thank God, I was cured of it – in the United States? 82 per cent. My chance of surviving prostate cancer in England? Only 44 per cent under socialised medicine.”
Apparently his figures are wrong, but who cares. Regardless of how the NHS does, Giuliani’s survival is a damning indictment of the American healthcare system.
Yes, and he appears to be an ungrateful SOB http://ezraklein.typepad.com/blog/2007/10/my-commenters-5.html
Hilarious. I’d laugh even harder, but I’d dislodge my doctor’s finger.
Er, thanks for that…
I’m in a funny mood today. Can you tell?
cured my hole
So he wasn’t cured then?
you cant cure it per se. you can stop it from being symptomatic or killing you.
All cancer can be cured -prostate cancer included-, but until conventional medicine wakes up to embrace nature again (which they seem to try to do using Saw Palmetto, Pygeum Africanum and other plant extracts), things will be delayed.
Every day they discover new hormones and substances, and when they THINK they can control one of them, they realize that controlling it triggers another, and so on and so on.
The body outsmarts all doctors, with all their diplomas. And yet we think we’re the “kings of the universe”.
What a joke!
